Notes

1. New entry requirements for students wishing to study on exchange in the Faculty of Law at the University of Amsterdam:

  • Students must have completed at least two years, 200 points, of their law studies. Where students are studying another degree combined with Law, only the law subjects will be taken into consideration.
  • Students wanting to study subjects in the International School for Humanities and Social Sciences (ISHSS) must have completed at least two years of relevant tertiary study at the time of studying in Amsterdam.
  • Non-native speakers of English must prove their proficiency with a current TOEFL score of 250+, an IELTS score of 7.0+ or a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).

2. In order to be accepted at the Economics Department at the University of Amsterdam, students need to have obtained (by the time of arrival) subjects with credits comparable with two years of university study in economics, business (finance and accounting), marketing, and management.
