1. Students wanting to go on exchange to the University of Michigan who are non-native speakers of English must have a current TOEFL result with a score of at least 230 on the computer-based test.

2. Postgraduate students may be accepted, but will be admitted to the College of Literature, Science and the Arts (LSA) at the University of Michigan as undergraduates. Please see Melbourne Global Mobility staff for further information.

3.Applications for Engineering at Michigan must be submitted by the December deadline, for exchanges beginning in the Michigan first semester.

Students to the USA are strongly advised to apply by the December deadline for exchange studies beginning in our second semester of the following year. Students who do not apply to begin with the Northern Hemisphere academic year will have difficulty gaining access to their chosen subjects.
