Lund University, with campuses in Lund, Malmo and Helsingborg, is the largest unit for research and higher education in Sweden. The University has about 42,000 students in total, with 8,000 studying at graduate level and 3,000 as research students. Over 6,000 students study online via the Lund net university. Lund has about 6,500 employees and the financial turnover for 2005 for the university is EUR544 million of which one third is used for undergraduate education and two thirds for research and training. Students can choose from among some 100 educational programmes and over 1000 separate courses. Lund University offers 21 international masters programmes taught in English. |
