Notes	The Ministry of Justice has tightened regulations for students coming to Japan to study due to students coming with insufficient funds. Students now need to state how they will finance their studies and may require proof. A recommended budget is about ¥150,000 per month (about A$1,800) and about ¥30-50,000 per semester (about A$370–620) on textbooks.
